These cards were included in a variety of soundtrack products. The earliest releases of
ROTK-OST had one of these cards in each
package. Those cards were double sided with a character on each
side. I've placed pairs of images next to each other below. The
cards were printed on cardstock weight paper. The
Internet ROTK-LE had all 14 images on 7
double sided cards. I will presume they were the same pairs as
for the OST. I don't know what weight paper they were printed
on. Also included was a sheet of stamps employing the same
images as the cards. The
LOTR Motion Picture Trilogy Soundtrack 3-disc set also contained
all of the ROTK cards except Éowyn's. These were one sided with
a white reverse side. This
set also contained some FOTR
cards. The cards were printed on glossy paper of thickness
in between magazine paper and poster paper. The
ROTK-LE had no cards but did have a
sheet of stamps employing the same images as the cards.
