A Theme for the Fellowship of the Ring

 

THE FELLOWSHIP IN ROHAN, a theme associated with the Fellowship of the Ring (the group of nine) gets created when the Fellowship theme commingles with the Rohan Fanfare.
 

Places this theme is heard in TTT:

  • An 'embryonic form' is heard when Legolas whips out his bow to challenge Éomer's insult to Gimli.

  • A more developed versions when Éowyn apologizes to Aragorn for asking so many questions while he's trying to eat her stew. (EE only)

  • The 'most fully developed statement' when Gimli jumps to Aragorn's aid after the Deeping Wall is destroyed.
